Michael Garcia is an experienced litigator who represents clients in diverse businesses and industries, including construction, health care, textile, real estate, and government affairs. Mr. Garcia has more than 21 years of combined experience as an attorney and paralegal. Mr. Garcia represents clients in civil, construction, municipal and commercial litigation lawsuits, as well as various successful bid protest, government procurement matters, and administrative hearing. As a former Assistant City Attorney, Michael has significant Florida Municipal Law experience. He has successfully represented numerous clients in matters regarding Florida Municipal Law, including Code Enforcement hearings and appeals; represented numerous clients in the construction arena in reviewing, preparing and negotiating contracts, as well as litigating construction matters; been involved in real estate matters such as reviewing title, transferring of real estate, reviewing contracts and litigating real estate disputes; and represented several corporations handling all of their legal matters. Mr. Garcia is admitted to the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida. Mr. Garcia is the Chairperson of the Hispanic Vote Political Action Committee and Board Member of the Hispanic Heritage Chamber of Commerce and a professor of Construction Law at Broward College. Mr. Garcia is also fluent in Spanish.
